In the August 19, 2015 at 17:30 will open the exhibition of Maria Kopacz to Camponovo, on the premises of Route Historical Museum located at the foot of the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Monte, Sacro Monte of Varese. Maria Kopacz is an artist of Hungarian Transylvanian origin, who since 1996 has lived and worked in Szentendre (Hungary), in the region of the river Tisza, a tributary of the Danube. He attended the College of Fine Arts in Kolozsvar, its debut was marked by production of graphic works, then the artist is devoted exclusively to paintings and color illustrations. In over thirty years activities carried out numerous exhibitions mainly in Eastern Europe and in Germany, where it has been reviewed in more important art publications. Before Santa Maria del Monte in Varese, the paintings of Maria Kopacz were exhibited in Beijing at the Museum of Fine Arts section of Hungarian Art.
Protagonists of the paintings of Mary Kopacz are angels, dolls, witches and circus characters: a population that lives in a fantastic dream world, a dream-like dimension that literature has often associated with the everyday life of people living in the Tisza region, only river that flows entirely in Hungary.
